Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These terms cover the Handbuilt Church website, waitlist, booking flow, cohort communications, and any early-access coaching or workflow support.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using this site, joining the waitlist, booking a call, or participating in a Handbuilt Lab cohort or preview, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or services.
2. What We Provide
The Handbuilt Lab teaches pastors to use AI agents for weekly writing and administrative work. The goal is not to outsource ministry judgment. The goal is to help you build workflows where your voice, theology, and final decisions remain yours.
Public launch materials may describe the cohort at a high level while dates, pricing, session format, and support details are finalized.
3. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving anything you create with AI tools or Handbuilt workflows before using it in ministry. You remain responsible for theological accuracy, pastoral suitability, confidentiality, and compliance with your church or organization policies.
4. Your Content
You keep ownership of content you provide, including sermon examples, notes, writing samples, and ministry context. You give us permission to use that content only to provide coaching, workflow support, site features, or cohort services you request.
Do not submit confidential pastoral care information, sensitive personnel information, or material you do not have permission to share with outside tools or service providers.
5. AI-Generated Material
AI-generated material can be wrong, incomplete, generic, or unsuitable for your context. Treat it as draft support and research assistance, not as a final authority. You decide what to keep, revise, cite, or discard.
6. Cohort Availability
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a seat in a cohort. Cohort dates, capacity, pricing, and support options may change before registration opens. We will share current details before asking participants to commit.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the site, cohort materials, or workflow support to create unlawful, abusive, deceptive, discriminatory, or harmful content, or to violate another person's privacy or intellectual property rights.
8. No Guarantee
The site, waitlist, and any early-access services are provided as-is. We do not guarantee that a workflow will save a specific number of hours, produce a particular result, or fit every ministry context.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the Handbuilt Lab moves from waitlist to cohort registration and delivery. The updated terms will be posted here.
